The University of Texas at Arlington held their 7th Annual Typography Exhibition for Fall 2022. The design is inspired by black and white optical illusion images. To achieve this graphic, manipulating type was used as a technique for the extended lines. The black and white color palette was chosen to further emphasize contrast between the background and foreground. The design choice would carry over into deliverables for an exhibition.
